Abstract
본 연구는 노인의 일에 접근함에 있어 근로여부를 넘어서 양질의 일자리가 필요하다는 문제의식 하에 근로노인의 근로만족이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향과 이 둘의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 분석자료는 2008년 서울시복지패널조사이며, 분석대상은 일을 하고 있는 60세 이상의 근로노인 354명이다. 자료분석은 SPSS통계프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 신뢰도 분석, 요인분석, 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며 매개효과검증을 위해서 AMOS 프로그램을 이용한 구조방정식을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 근로노인의 근로만족이 노인의 생활만족에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것이 통계적으로 검증되었으며 이 두 변인 사이에서 자아존중감이 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 노인의 생활만족과 자아존중감을 높이기 위해서는 양질의 일자리제공이 필요함을 실증적으로 분석했다는 점과 이러한 결론에 기초하여 노인의 근로만족을 높이기 위한 이론적·실천적 함의를 제시하였다
The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of self-esteem on the relationship between work satisfaction and life satisfaction among the working elderly. The data was Seoul Welfare Panel data made by Seoul welfare foundation in 2008 and the total subject was 354 who were working elderly aged over 60. When it comes to the research methods, frequency, descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis were employed using SPSS 18.0. And structured equation modeling were conducted using AMOS 20.0. The result of this study shows that the level of work satisfaction has positive influences on the level of life satisfaction of the working elderly. It is also verified that self-esteem variable has a partial mediating effect between the level of work satisfaction and life satisfaction of the elderly. This study emphasizes that high-quality jobs in elderly working field should be made for the working elderly.
