효소면역법을 이용한 Human Chorionic Gonadotropin β-subunit의 임상적 고찰

Abstract
수술이나 조직생검에 의해서 생식기 질환으로 진단이 확진되고 효소면역법을 이용하여 혈
청 β-HCG값을 측정할 수 있었던 59예와 건강한 정상대조군 27예를 비교 관찰한 결과 다
음과 같다.
1) 포상기태 환자 중 혈청 β-HCG값은 포상기태 제거 전에 실시했을 경우 111.9×103mIU/㎖로 정상대조군에 비하여 의의 있는 상승치를 보였으며 수술 후 진
행 결과를 추적할 수 있었던 5예에서 β-HCG치는 모두 12주 이내에 정상값 이하로 회복되
었다.
2) 융모상피암 환자에서 수술전 혈청 β-HCG값은 저명한 장승을 보였다.
3) 자궁외 임신군에서 혈청 β-HCG값은 853mIU/㎖로 현저한 증가를 보였다.
4) 만성 자궁 경관염과 기타 산부인과 질환 환자의 혈청 β-HCG값은 정상치를 나타냈다.
이상의 소견으로 보아 간편하고 특수한 설비 없이 시행할 수 있는 효소면역법을 이용한
혈청 β-HCG측정은 융모성 질환과 자궁외 임신의 임상적 진단에 중요한 지침이 될 것으로
사료된다.

Human chorionic gonadotropin is a glycoprottin secreted by trophoblast It has been
determined by several methods, but recently enzyme immunoassay is developed. The
authors investigatedser urn levels of β-HCG determined by enzyme immunoassay in
normal controls and patients with diseases of the reproductive organs.
The results were as follows:
1) In hydatidiform mole, serum β-HCG levels were significantly increased(111.9×103 mIU/㎖), but the elevated levels were returned to normal in 12 weeks
after operation.
2) In choriocarcinoma, serum β-HCG levels were also markedly increased.
3) In ectopic pregnancy, serum β-HCG levels were increase4 moderately.
4) In chronic cervicitis and other diseases of the reproductive organs, serum β-HCG
showed normal levels.
According to the above results, enzyme immunoassay, is a simple, rapid, highly
specific, and sensitive, e method for determination of serum β-HCG. Evaluation of
serum β-HCG levels is very important in diagnosis of trophoblastic diseases and
ectopic pregnancies.
