Abstract
Peutz-Jeghers 폴립은 위장관 전반에 걸쳐 발생하는 과오종성 폴립으로서, 유전적인 소인
및 피부점막 색소침착이 동반되는 경우 Peutz-Jeghers 증후군으로 알려져 있으며 한국인에
서 다수 예가 보고되어 있다. Peutz-Jeghers 증후군에서 위장관 및 다른 부위에 악성변화가
드물게 보고되고 있으나, Peutz-Jeghers 폴립이 소장에서 발생할 경우에는 약 10%에서 가
성침윤을 동반하기 때문에 악성변화로 오인되기 쉬워 감별진단에 중요한 의미를 갖는다.
저자들은 24세의 여자의 소장에서 발견된 가성침윤을 동반한 Peutz-Jeghers 폴립증 1예
를 보고한다.

Peutz-Jeghers polyp with pseudoinvasion is characterized by the presence of mucosal
islands within muscle layer often associated with mucinous cysts. It occurs when
mucosal components completely penetrate the muscularis propria, and shows no cytologic
signs of malignancy. In most instances, the lesion may be the result of forces exerted
during intussusception in the involved small intestine.
We describe a case of Peutz-Jeghers polyposis with Pseudoinvasion in a 24-year-old
female patient. this patient presented with intussusception and a segmental resection of
the ileum was performed. Microscopically, it disclosed a hamartomatous Polyp with
pseudoinvasion. There were g1andular islands and mucinous cysts embedded within the
bundle of muscle layer, extending to the subserosa. There was no evidence of cellular
dysplasia or desmoplasia. (Korean J Pathol 1993; 27: 72∼74)
