Abstract
림프관종은 혈관종에 비해 드문 양성 종양이며, 림프관계 조직이 분포하는 신체의 어느
부위에서나 생길 수 있지만, 주로 두부, 경부 및 액와부에서 호발하는 것으로 알려져 있고,
드물게 내장장기에서 발생하기도 한다.
위의 종양은 약 5%가 양성이며, 그중 림프관종의 발생빈도는 매우 낮은 것으로 알려져
있다. 위장관의 림프관종은 현재까지 드물게 외국 문헌에 보고되고 있으며, 국내에서는 1예
가 보고된 바 있으나, 전자현미경적 소견은 기술되어 있지 않다. 전에 보고된 예들은 대체로
무증상이거나 내시경 소견상 위내강으로 돌출하는 점막하 종양의 형태를 보이는 경우가 대
부분이었다.
그러나, 최근 저자들은 10년 동안 상복부 둔통을 앓아온 55세 여자 환자에서 위의 장막쪽
으로 융기된 소견을 보이는 림프관종 1예를 광학 및 전자현미경적으로 관찰하고, 본 종양의
희귀성에 비추어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Cystic lymphangiomas of the stomach are extremely rare. These usually present as
asymptomatic, polypoid lesion consisting of cystically dilated lymphatic vessels, which
are submucosal in location.
We report a case of cystic lymphangioma of the stomach. The patient is a 55
year-old woman who has complained of dull pain on epigastrium for 10 years. The
mass measures 6×5 cm in cross diameter and is mainly located in the subserosal layer
along lesser curvature. Microscopically, the tumor reveals a large .number of dilated
lymphatic cysts containing serous fluid, lined by a layer of flattened endothelial cells.
Ultrastructurally, lining endothelial cells show thin discontinuous basal lamina, in
contrast to normal lymphatics. (Korean J Pathol 1993; 27: 670∼672)
