Abstract
간에서 발생한 염증성 가성종양은 임상적으로 원발성 악성종양과 혼동하기 쉬운 매우 드
문 양성종괴이다. 1953년 Pack과 Baker에 의하여 간의 염증성 가성종양이 처음 보고된 이
래 국내의 3예를 포함하여 세계적으로 54예만이 보고되어 있을 뿐이다. 이 질환의 원인에
대하여 아직 확실히 알려진 바는 없지만 현재까지는 어떤 종류의 염증성 질환에 의한 국소
적인 간 손상에 대한 반응으로 나타나는 것이라는 설이 가장 유력하다.
최근 저자들은 4년전 간내결석증으로 치료를 받았던 46세 남자에서 발생한 염증성 가성종
양을 경험하였기에 그의 희귀성과 아울러 이 질환의 병인에 대하여 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하
는 바이다.

Inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver is a rare benign lesion that usually has been
discovered at laparotomy. This lesion is inflammatory and reactive, but the etiology
remains unknown. Inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver is of the interest not only
because of its rarity also because it needs to be clinically differentiated from
hepatocellular carcinoma and other malignant tumors.
In this report, we describe a case of inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver with fever
and weight loss in a 46-year-old male. Grossly, the lesion showed a rather well
demarcated, gray white to pale yellowish nodular mass mesuring 7×5.5×5 ㎝ in
dimensions. Microscopically, the tumor was composed of diffuse infiltration of
predominantly plasma cells, lymphocytes and histocytes associated with fibroblastic
proliferation.
