Abstract
부고환의 종양은 매우 드물고 대부분 양성이며 유선종이 그 중 제일 흔하다. 부고환의 유
두상 낭선종은 1956년 Serrick이 첫 증례를 보고한 이래 1988년까지 40예 정도 보고되었으
나 그 이후로는 보고례가 없다. 이 종양은 yon Hippel-Lindau 증후군의 부고환 성분으로 잘
알려져 있으며, von Hippel-Lindau 증후군은 상염색체 우성으로 유전되는 질환으로 다양한
기관을 침범하며 특히, 망막혈관종, 소뇌의 혈관모세포종, 신세포암종 및 크롬친화성 세포종
등을 흔히 동반한다. 유두상 낭선종이 양성종양이지만 임상적으로 중요한 이유로는 첫째, 소
뇌의 혈관모세포종이나 신세포암종등과 같은 yon Hippel-Lindau 증후군의 다른 심각한 병
변이 병발 또는 후발할 가능성이 있고, 둘째, 이 증후군이 유전되기 때문에 환자가족의 병력
에 관심을 가져야 하기 때문이다.
저자들은 최근 von Hippel-Lindau 증후군과 관련이 있는 부고환의 유두상 낭선종 1예를
경험하고 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.

Papillary cystadenoma of the epididymis is a rare benign tumor that represents the
epididymal component of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome. A case of epididymal papillary
cystadenoma is presented in a 36 years old man. He also had pancreatic cysts, the
pancreatic component of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome. His younger brother, who died of
intracranial hemorrhage at age 27, revealed hemangioblastoma of the cerebellum,
angioma of the retina and renal cell carcinoma on radiologic studies. These findings
suggest familial occurrence of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome. (Korean J Pathol 1994; 28:
