Abstract
탄성섬유종은 비교적 드문 양성 종양성 병변으로, 1959년 J rvi와 Sax n등에 의해 처음으
로 보고되었으며 주로 나이든 여성에서 호발하고, 그 병변은 정상조직에서보다 증가된 교원
섬유와 특징적인 탄성기호 물질로 구성되어 있다. 주로 견갑하부에서 호발하고 대퇴의 대전
자부, 삼각근 부위, 좌골조면부, 유방, 흉벽 등에서 보고된 바가 있으나, 위장에 발생한 경우
는 전 세계적으로 1985년 Enjoji 등에 의해 1예가 보고된 바가 있다. 최근 저자들은 위장의
점막하부에서 탄성섬유종과 동일한 병리조직학적 소견을 보이는 위장의 탄성섬유종성 병변
을 경험하였기에 발생부위의 희귀성에 비추어 간단한 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.

Elastofibroma is a peculiar tumor-like lesion which manifests as a slowly growing,
solid, ill-defined mass of fibroelastic tissue occurring almost exclusively in elderly
persons. It has been found in the subscapular region but rate examples have also been
found in other locations.
We experienced a case of elastofibromatous lesion of the stomach. The lesion was
incidentally found in a 71-year-old woman during an operation of cholecystectomy due
to chronic cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis. The lesion was a relatively well-defined
but not encapsulated small nodule, 0.7 ㎝ in diameter, at submucosal layer of gastric
pylorus. Histologically the nodular mass consisted of abundant acellular Collagen fibers
Containing numerous elastofibroma fibers. (Korean J Pathol 1995; 29: 103∼105)
