Abstract
췌장의 낭선종은 매우 드문 질환으로 췌장의 전체 낭성 병변의 약 4∼10%를 차지하며 그
들의 내용물에 따라 장액성 낭선종과 점액성 낭선종으로 분류된다. 이 중 장액성 낭선종은
무수히 많은 소낭들로 구성되는 양성 종양으로, 각 소낭들은 풍부한 글리코겐을 세포질에
함유하고 있는 입방형 혹은 편평 세포로 둘러싸여 있다. 1978년 Compagno와 Oertel은 34예
의 장액성 낭선종을 모아 보고하면서 소낭성 선종 혹은 글리코겐이 풍부한 낭선종
(glycogen-rich cystadenoma)이라는 명칭을 사용하였다. 국내에서의 발생 빈도는 최등의 보
고에 의하면 181예의 원발성 췌종양중 5예가 장액성 낭선종었으며, 문헌상으로는 Kim등, 조
등의 것을 포함해 모두 8예가 보고되어 있다.
저자들은 최근에 55세 여자 환자에서 전형적인 육안 및 조직학적 소견을 가지며, 수술중
동결 절편 검사에서 진단되어 적절한 외과적 절제술로 완치된 췌장의 장액성 낭선종 1예를
경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다.

Serous cystadenoma of the pancreas, also blown as microcystic adenoma or
glycogen-rich cystadenoma, is an unusually benign tumor. It is usually large and
composed microscopically of many small cysts lined by small, cuboidal or flattened cells
containing abundant glycogen. It has been suggested that serous cystadenoma probably
arise from the ductular cells or centroacinar cells.
Herein, we report on a case of serous cystadenoma of the pancreas in a 55-year-old
female The tumor, measuring 13.5×11.5×10.0 ㎝, was located in the head of the
pancreas and the cut surface revealed a sponge-like appearance due to innumerable tiny
cysts containing clear serous fluid. Microscopic analysis showed cystic spaces lined by
cuboidal cells with intracytoplasmic glycogen. (Korean J Patrol 1996; 30: 68 ∼71)
