Abstract
장관성 낭종은 전장의 중복성 낭종, 소화기관의 중복성 낭종, 원장성 낭종 등의 여러 이름
으로 명명되는 선천성 낭종 병변의 하나로서 영아때부터 발견되는 희귀한 질환이다. 호발부
위는 종격동, 복강내부 및 척추관 등인데 그외 다른 장기에서도 드물게 발생한 보고가 있다.
이 질환은 흔히 척추 이상이나 소장의 중복이 동반되기 때문에 진단뿐만 아니라 진단후 임
상적 관찰이 중요하다. 저자들은 혀에 발생한 장관성 낭종 1예를 경험하여 이의 가능한 발
생 기전과 함께 임상적, 병리학적 특성 및 의의를 보고하고자 한다.

A case of enteric cyst in the anterior two-thirds of the tongue is reported. The
patient, a 42 day-old female infant, presented with a protruding tongue mass since birth.
Under the impression of ectopic thyroid gland or leiomyoma, complete resection was
performed. The mass proved to he an enteric cyst, lined by small intestinal mucosa with
an underlying coat of smooth muscle. Enteric cysts arising in the tongue is rare and
only 8 such cases have been reported in the literature.
