Abstract
By antegrade pyelography which was the modified Casey & Goodwin technique, 14 patients were examined in whom relatively accurate visualization of collecting system of the affected kidney could not be made by excretory or retrograde pyelography.
Diagnosis established were 5 cases of marked delayed opacification, nine of non-visualization of which one was renal rupture due to trauma and the others were renal tuberculosis.
No complications occurred during or after examinations. In selected cases of marked delayed opacification and non-visualization in suspected renal tuberculosis, antegrade pyelography is a safe and accurate diagnostic procedure to other accepted methods of urography.
