Abstract
"Many studies for the problem of vesicoureteral reflux have been reported during the last year but basic anatomy and physiology underlying reflux was poorly understood until recently. Surgical correction of vesicoureteral reflux by means of ureteral reimplantation was done in all 13 ureters for 12 patient who was admitted under diagnosis of Bladder neck contracture, Bladder ca, Ureteral obstruction, Ureterovaginal fistula and chronic glomerulonephritis for kidney transplantation. Ureteral reimplantation by the technique of politano-leadbetter was done in 11 individual ureters, and by the method of paquinein 2 ureters. The excellent result following ureteral reimplantation by means of politano-leadbetter was presentedhere."
