Abstract

We report on a patient with matrix stone.
The presenting symptoms were right flank pain and oliguria. The patient was in severe uremic condition secondary to the obstruction of the solitary kidney. A definite diagnosis was made by an exploration. However the surgical removal of stones resulted in only temporary improvement due to residual and recurrent stones. The literature is discussed.
