Abstract
Emphysematous phelonephritis is an uncommon serious suppurative infection characterized by the production of intrarenal and perirenal gas and gteneraly occurs in patient with diabetes mellitus or urinary tract obstruction. We report a case of
emphysemsatous pyelonephritis treatedd successfully with percutaneous d3rainage in 61-year-old woman with diabetes mellitus. Mitral insufficiency and pleural effusion.
