Abstract
음낭혈관종은 매우 드문 질한으로 1851년에 Robert가 최초로 보고한 이래 전세계적으로
약 45례 국내에서는 6례가 보고되어 있다. 그리고 최근에 여러 장기에서 발생한 혈관종 혹
은 피부 및 피하 연조직 (soft tissue) 병변의 진단과 범위 결정에 자기공명영상술이 매우
유용하였던 것으로 보고되어 있다. 저자들은 음낭종물을 주소로 내원하여 음낭혈관종으로
진단된 3례를 체험하였고, 그중 2례에서는 자기명영상이 병변의 진단 및 범위를 결정하는데
유용하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

Hemangioma of the scrotum is a rare and benign tumor and complete surgical
excision is the preferred treatment. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be useful
for the evaluation of these lesions particularly when determining the extent or depth of
involvement would affect management decisions. Herein, we report 3 cases of scrotal
hemangioma, and the usefulness of MRI in the evaluation of these lesions is discussed.
