Abstract
원발성 요관 종양은 입원환자 3690명 당 1명 정도에서 드물게 발견되며, 대부분이 악성이
고 요관 종양의 20%를 양성종양이 차지하고 있다. 양성 요관 종양은 이행 상피세포의 증식
이 심한 진성유두종과 간질조직의 증식이 우세한 섬유성 용종으로 크게 구분되며 대부분의
용종은 섬유상피성 용종이다. 섬유상피성 용종은 대개 단일성 병소로 상부요관에서 발견되
지만, 드물게 양측성 혹은 다발성으로 보고되기도 한다.
최근 본 교실에서는 14년간의 간헐적 좌측 측복부 동통을 주소로 내원한 21세 남자에서
양측 요관에 발생한 섬유상피성 용종 1례를 치험하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

Bilateral fibroepithelial polyps of the ureter are scarcely seen benign mesodermal
tumor that occurs most often at the proximal ureter. Most patients present with either
hematuria due to necrosis at urethral polyp of flank pain secondary to partial ureteral
obstruction. The Diagnosis may be established with intravenous pyelography, retrograde
pyelography, ureteroscopy and CT. Local resection is the treatment of choice. We report
a case of bilateral fibroepithelial polyps of the ureter with a brief review of literatures.
