Abstract
서론
방광에 발생하는 종양은 대부분 악성종양이며, 양성 종양의 빈도는 약 5%에 불과하고 그
중 평활근종은 전체 방광종양 중 0.04-0.5%를 차지하는 매우 드문 질환이다. 평활근종은 중
피기원의 양성종양으로서 평활근이 존재하는 어느곳에서도 발생할 수 있고, 요로 및 생 식
기계에서는 신실질, 신우 요관 방광 요도, 전립선 및 부고환 등 거의 모든 곳에서 발생할 수
있으며 완전절제시 예후는 좋은 것으로 되 어 있다.
저자들은 배뇨장애를 주소로 내원한 67세 여자 환자에서 방광평활근종 1례를 경험하였기
에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다.

We experienced a case of 67-year-old female with leiomyoma of the urinary bladder
accompanied with voiding difficulty. Patient evaluation included IVP, ultrasound, pelvic
CT scan and cystoscopy with biopsy. She had a tumor at anterior wall of the urinary
bladder and the mass lesion of left ovary. The urinary bladder tumor was removed by
partial cystectomy and the mass of left ovary was removed by total abdominal
hysterectomy and lect salpingooophorectomy, simultaneously. Microscopically, the tumor
of the urinary bladder had spindle shaped nucleus, polychromasia without mitotic figure,
and was confirmed as the benign leiomyoma. The tumor of the left ovary was
diagnosed as the thecoma on its histologic examination. The leiomyoma is an uncommon
benign tumor of the urinary bladder. We report a case of leiomyoma of the urinary
bladder with review of the literature.
