Abstract
신낭종은 성인에서 발견되는 신종물 중 가장 흔한 것으로 이중 70% 이상은 단순신낭종이
며 염증성 신낭종은 드물다고 알려져 있다. 특히 결핵균에 의하여 발생한 신낭종은 저자들
의 조사로는 지금까지 2례만 보고되었다. 저자들은 좌측 신낭종으로 내원한 31세 남자에서
결핵성 신낭종이 확인되었기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Tuberculous infection of renal cyst is a very rare disease. We report a case of
tuberculous infection of renal cyst in a 31 years old man. Incidental renal
ultrasonography showed multiple septated cysts on the upper pole of the left kidney.
Abdominal CT showed septated left renal cyst with calcification. The patient was
treated with cyst aspiration and unroofing. AFB were confirmed in the culture of
aspirated fluid of renal cyst. Pathologic examination revealed chronic granulomatous
pyelonephritis with caseous necrosis.
