Abstract
후복막 기형종은 세계적으로는 1761년 Morgagni가 처음으로 문헌상 보고한 비교적 희귀
한 종양으로 연령의 증가에 따라 악성의 빈도도 높아지기 때문에 조기발견 및 치료가 중요
하다.
저자들은 21세 여자환자에서 좌상복부 종물을 주소로 한 후복막강 기형종 1례를 치험하였
기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다.

Retroperitoneal teratoma is a rare tumor composed of tissues from all three germ cell
layers - endoderm, mesoderm, ectoderm. It is generally known as a disease of baby or
children and as 10% of retroperitoneal tumor.
Recently, we experienced a case of retroperitoneal teratoma in adult.
