Abstract
방광종양은 소아에서는 드물게 발생하며, 발생하는 경우에는 일반적으로 중배엽에서 기원하는 횡문근육종인 경우가 흔하다. 또한 요로상피에서 기원하는 요로상피종양의 발생빈도는 더욱 드문 것으로 알려져 있는데, 1969년에 Javadpour와 Mostofi1는 방광의 원발성 요로상피종양 10,000례에서 14세 미만은 3명이었다고 보고한 바 있다. 소아에서의 요로상피종양은 성인에서의 요로상피종양과는 차이점을 가지고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자들은 최근 5세 여아에서
방광에 발생한 요로상피종양 1례를 경요도 방광종양절제술로 치험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.
The occurrence of bladder tumors in the first 2 decades of life are rare neoplasias. Transitional cell tumors of the bladder are extremely a rare clinical disease entity. Here, a case of a papillary urothelial tumor in a 5-year-old girl is reported, with a brief review of the literature. Histologically, the tumor was a solitary and papillary urothelial tumor of low malignant potential (by WHO and the ISUP). (Korean J Urol 2005;46: 998-1000)
