Abstract
서 론
교육종은 신경교종과 육종의 혼합형인 신경상피세포와 간엽세포로 구성된 드문 원발성 악
성 뇌종양으로서, CNS tumor의 WHO 분류에 의하여 교모세포정의 변형종으로 기술되어
있다. 교육종의 발생 기전과 병리조직학적 소견에 대한 여러 증례 보고와 연구문헌들이 축
적되었으며, 근래에는 뇌 CT 소견과 뇌혈관조영 소견들이 보고되고 있다.
본원 신경외과에서는 좌측 전측두엽의 혈종 수술 후 5개월만에 발생되어 수개월 사이에
급속도로 진행된 교육종 1례를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하고자 한다.

The authors encountered a case of gilosarcoma with hemorrhage arising in the left
frontotemporal lobe of a 34-year old woman who five months previously had undergone
surgery for an ICH in the same lobe. On CT brain scan, we could a slight hyperdense
tumor with irregular enhancement could be detected, and perilesional edema and obvious
mass effect were also noted. The tumor was firm and surgically, its margine was
somewhat poor.
On pathologic and histochemical study, the presence of a gliosarcoma was confirmed.
