Abstract
서론
모야모야병은 대개 양측 내경동맥원위부, 전대뇌동맥 및 중대뇌동맥근위부의 협착 및 폐
쇄와 함께 혈관망이 뇌기저부나 뇌기저핵부에 보이는 뇌혈관 질환으로, 1955년 Shi-mizu등
이 양측경동맥의 형성부전을 보고한 이래 cerebral juxtabasilar telangiectasia, cerebral
arterial rete, rete mirabile, cerebral basal rete mirabile 등으로 불려오다가 1969년 Suzki가
moyamoya disease로 명명한 이래 현재 통용되고 있으며 발생되는 인종은 일본, 한국을 포
함한 극동 지역에서 주로 발생하며, 백인 및 흑인에서도 발생하기도 한다. 우리나라에서의
발생빈도는 정확히 알려져 있지 않으나. 일본에서는 인구 10만명당 1명 이하이고, 가족성 모
야모야병의 발생빈도는 일본의 경우 모야모야병 환자중 7%로 보고되고 있다. 1975년 Kudo
등은 모야모야병을 가진 363례중 7가족에서, Kitahara등은 본인이 치험한 3례를 포함한 23
례의 가족성 모야모야병 환자를 보고하였다. 본 교실에서는 자발성 뇌내혈종 소견을 보인
51세된 어머니 및 뇌실내출혈을 보인 24세된 딸에서 뇌혈관조영술상 모야모야병을 확인하고
이를 치험 하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.

There is extensive evidence that moyamoya disease has a tendency for multifactorial
inheritance, although the pathogenesis of moyamuya disease is not clear. The authors
report a case of familial moyamoya disease involving a 51-year-old female and her
24-year-old daughter, both of whom initially presented, within a 1-year period, with
intracerebral hemorrhage and intraventricular hemorrhage. Cerebral angiography showed
typical features of moyamoya disease in both patients, but the cause of the pathology
remains obscure. The pertinent literature is reviewed.
