Abstract

¸ñÀû : ±¹³»¿¡¼­ °³¹ßµÈ ÃʼÒÇü Ä«¸Þ¶ó ¹× ¿µ»ó Àåºñ¸¦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÑ ÃֽŠ¸Ó¸®Âø¿ëÇü Àú½Ã·Â º¸Á¶±â±¸ÀÇ ÀÓ»óÀû È¿°ú¸¦ ¾Ë¾Æ º¸°íÀÚ ÇÏ¿´´Ù.
´ë»ó°ú ¹æ¹ý : 2001³â 10¿ùºÎÅÍ 2002³â 4¿ù±îÁö º»¿ø Àú½Ã·Â Ŭ¸®´ÐÀ» ¹æ¹®ÇÑ Àú½Ã·Â ȯÀÚ 21¸íÀ» ´ë»óÀ¸·Î »õ·Î¿î Àú½Ã·Â º¸Á¶±â±¸¸¦ Âø¿ë½ÃŲ ÈÄ ±× È¿°ú¸¦ Á¶»çÇÏ¿´´Ù.
°á°ú : ȯÀÚµéÀÇ Æò±Õ¿¬·ÉÀº 33.6¼¼¿´À¸¸ç Áø´Ü¿¡ µû¸¥ ºÐÆ÷¿¡¼­ ½Ã½Å°æ À§Ãà(29%), ¸Á¸·»ö¼Òº¯¼ºÁõ(19%), ¼±Ãµ¼º¹é³»Àå(14%), Ȳ¹ÝºÎº¯¼º(14%) µîÀÇ ¼øÀ¸·Î ¸¹¾Ò´Ù. Âø¿ëÀü ¿ø°Å¸® ÃÖ´ë±³Á¤½Ã·ÂÀº 20/200¿¡¼­ 20/100±îÁö°¡ 9¸í (42%)À¸·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾Ò°í Âø¿ë ÈÄ¿¡´Â 15¸í(71%)ÀÌ 20/25ÀÌ»óÀÇ ½Ã·ÂÀ» º¸¿´À¸¸ç, ±Ù°Å¸® ÃÖ´ë±³Á¤½Ã·ÂÀº Âø¿ëÀü 20/200¿¡¼­ 20/100±îÁö°¡ 9¸í(42%)À¸·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾Ò°í Âø¿ë ÈÄ¿¡´Â 17¸í(81%)¿¡¼­ 20/25ÀÌ»óÀÇ ±Ù°Å¸® ½Ã·ÂÀ» º¸¿´´Ù. ȯÀÚµéÀÌ Àú½Ã·Âº¸Á¶±â±¸¸¦ »ç¿ëÇÏ¿© ÇÊ¿ä·Î ÇÏ´Â ÀÏ»ó»ýÈ°Àº µ¶¼­ 12¸í(57%)À¸·Î °¡Àå ¸¹¾Ò´Ù.
°á·Ð : Áõ°¡ÇÏ´Â Ãß¼¼¿¡ ÀÖ´Â Àú½Ã·Â ȯÀÚµéÀÇ »îÀÇ Áú Çâ»óÀ» À§ÇÑ ÀçÈ°¿¡ ÀÖ¾î ÃֽŠ¸Ó¸®Âø¿ëÇü Àú½Ã·Â º¸Á¶±â±¸´Â ¸¹Àº µµ¿òÀ» ÁÙ °ÍÀ¸·Î ±â´ë°¡ µÈ´Ù.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical effect of Head Mounted Visual Enhancement System
Methods: We assessed the clinical effect after prescription in 21 patients that visited the low vision clinic from October 2001 to April 2002
Results: The average age is 33.6 years old. The causes of low vision were optic atrophy (29%), retinitis pigmentosa (19%), congenital cataract (14%), macular degeneration (14%). The most common best corrected distant visual acuity before prescription is from 20/200 to 20/100 (42%u). After prescription, the most common best corrected distant visual acuity is better than 20/25 (71%). The most common best corrected near visual acuity before prescription is from 20/200 to 20/100 (42%). After prescription, the most common best corrected distant visual acuity is better than 20/25 (81%). The most common purpose to use low vision aids was book reading (57%)
Conclusions: These results show that a application of New Head Mounted Visual Enhancement System will be a great help to increasing low vision populations for visual rehabilitation.
