Abstract

¸ñÀû: ±Þ¼ºÈÄÀ¯¸®Ã¼¹Ú¸® ÀÌÈÄ ¸Á¸·Àü¸·ÀÇ ¹ß»ý·üÀ» ¾Ë¾Æº¸°í, À§ÇèÀÎÀÚ¸¦ ºÐ¼®ÇÏ°íÀÚ ÇÏ¿´´Ù.

´ë»ó°ú ¹æ¹ý: 2013³â 2¿ùºÎÅÍ 2019³â 2¿ù±îÁö ºñ¹®Áõ ¶Ç´Â ±¤½ÃÁõÀ¸·Î ³»¿øÇÏ¿© ÈÄÀ¯¸®Ã¼¹Ú¸®¸¦ Áø´Ü¹ÞÀº ȯÀÚÀÇ Àǹ«±â·ÏÀ» Á¶»çÇÏ¿´´Ù. Áõ»ó ¹ßÇö ÀÌÈÄ 1´Þ À̳» Áø´Ü¹ÞÀº ȯÀÚ¸¦ ¿¬±¸¿¡ Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¸Á¸·Àü¸·Àº ¾ÈÀú»çÁøÀ» ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© Áø´ÜÇÏ¿´´Ù. °á°ú: 154¾ÈÀÌ ¿¬±¸¿¡ Æ÷ÇԵǾú´Ù. Æò±Õ ¿¬·ÉÀº 56.6 ¡¾ 8.0¼¼¿´´Ù. 1-3°³¿ù »çÀÌ¿¡´Â 144¾È Áß 3¾È(2.1%), 3-6°³¿ù »çÀÌ¿¡´Â 56¾È Áß 11¾È(19.6%), 6-12°³¿ù »çÀÌ¿¡´Â 63¾È Áß 15¾È(23.8%)¿¡¼­ ¸Á¸·Àü¸·ÀÌ Áø´ÜµÇ¾ú´Ù. ÈÄÀ¯¸®Ã¼¹Ú¸® Áõ»ó ¹ßÇö ÈÄ 12°³¿ù µ¿¾È¿¡ ¸Á¸·Àü¸·ÀÇ ´©Àû¹ß»ý·üÀº 35.3%¿´´Ù. ´Ùº¯·® ·ÎÁö½ºÆ½ ȸ±ÍºÐ¼®¿¡¼­ ¹Ý´ë¾È¿¡¼­ ¸Á¸·Àü¸·ÀÌ °üÂûµÈ °æ¿ì(±³Â÷ºñ 11.9, 95% ½Å·Ú±¸°£1.4-100.1)°¡ ¸Á¸·Àü¸· ¹ß»ý°ú À¯ÀÇÇÏ°Ô °ü·ÃµÇ¾ú´Ù.

°á·Ð: ÈÄÀ¯¸®Ã¼¹Ú¸® ÀÌÈÄ ¸Á¸·Àü¸·ÀÇ ¹ß»ýÀº ºñ±³Àû ÈçÇÏ¿´´Ù. ÈÄÀ¯¸®Ã¼¹Ú¸® ȯÀÚ´Â Áõ»ó ¹ßÇö ÀÌÈÄ 6°³¿ù ÀÌ»ó Àå±âÀûÀÎ ÃßÀû °üÂûÀÌ ÇÊ¿äÇÏ´Ù.

Purpose: To investigate the incidence and risk factors of epiretinal membrane (ERM) after acute posterior vitreous detachment (PVD).

Methods: We reviewed the medical records of patients diagnosed with PVD between February 2013 and February 2019.
Patients with symptom onset (new floaters or photopsia) within 1 month at the time of diagnosis were included in the study. The ERM was diagnosed using fundus photographs. The incidence rate was investigated in each of the three periods: 1-3, 3-6, and 6-12 months after symptom onset. The cumulative incidence rate of ERM was calculated using Kaplan-Meier analysis. Data were analyzed using logistic regression to determine the association between ERM development and various factors.

Results: The study included 154 eyes. The mean age was 56.6 ¡¾ 8.0 years. ERM was observed in three of 144 eyes (2.1%) between 1 month and 3 months, in 11 of 56 eyes (19.6%) between 3 and 6 months, and in 15 of 63 eyes (23.8%) between 6 and 12 months from symptom onset. The cumulative incidence rate of ERM was 35.3% over the 12 months following the onset of PVD symptoms. In a multivariate logistic regression analysis, the fellow eye with ERM (odds ratio 11.9, 95% confidence interval 1.4-100.1) was significantly associated with ERM development.

Conclusions: ERM development was relatively common after PVD. Long-term follow-up of 6 months or more should be required after the onset of symptoms.
