Abstract


The tissue inhibiting factor does not influence oxidative metabolism of glucose in the cancer or cancerous tissue but glucose uptake rate was remarkably decreased by tissue inhibiting factor.
From above data, it is reasonable to suppose that tissue inhabiting factor inhibit some step of intermediary metabolism which related to synthetic pathway from glucose to tissue proliferation other than oxidative pathway of glucose.
