Abstract

Ten cases of the stomach carcinoma. eight
s of the hepatobiliary carcinoma, thirteen ses of miscellaneous carcinoma and eleven cases
acute inflammation were investigated by pans of electrophoresis with cellulose acetate and aspired with sixteen control group and viewed with the ressults of other investigators. In case of the stomach carcinoma, there showed
increase of alpha-globulin and gamma-globulin d a decrease of albumin with statistical ;nificance and the fraction of beta 1, 2 and alpha, did not change significantly.
Hepatobiliary carcinoma showed similar data concerning. the patterns of dysproteinemia but their magnitude was greater than that of the stomach carcinoma. There noted an increase of alpha 2-globulin and gamma-globulin in inflammation.
But concerning about beta-globulin in malignant neoplastic diseases and inflammations, no statistic-ally significant change was noted even though beta-globulin was splitted into beta, and beta2 bands. To evaluate the course and the therapeutic offect of malignant neoplasm, further research and follow-up with electrophoresis may be needed.
