Abstract


Papillary cystic neopalsm of the pancreas is an extremely rare tumor which occurs in young female, may invade locally, but rarely metastasize. It is of low malignant potential, and surgical resection will be curative in almost all cases.
We have experienced 4 cases of papillary cystic neoplasm of the pancreas in the Kosin Medical Center during the period between January 1987 and December 1992 and we reviewed these rare tumor by clinically and reviewing literature.
