Abstract
서론
Chondroid syringoma는 과거 mixed tumor of the skin of the salivary gland type이라
불리워졌으며 sweat gland tumor의 드문 형태이다. Chondroid syringoma라는 용어는 Hirsh
& Helwig에 의해 처음 명명되어 졌으며 1961년 악성에 대한 첫 증례가 발표된 이후 10여
건이 보고되어졌다. 여자에서 보다 더 흔하며 양성은 두부 및 안면에, 악성은 체간이나 사지
에 호발한다. 수개월 내지 수년에 걸친 잦은 재발이 특징적이고 최근 방사선치료 및 항암요
법이 추천되고 있으나 치료 및 예후에 있어서 아직 정확히 알려진 바는 없다.
이에 저자들은 폐로 전이한 Malignant chondroid syringoma(이하 MCS로 명함)를 경험하
였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
Malignant chondroid syringoma, previously called "mixed tumor of the skin of the
salivary gland type"is a fairly uncommon type of sweat gland tumor. Malignant
chondroid syringoma frequently arises from the trunk and extremities, whereas the
benign tumor is common to the head region. The present case occurred in a female.
The malignant nature of the tumor was evident from repeated recurrences after excision
of the mass and histopathological study. Lack of response to radiotherapy and
chemotherapy led to widespread metastasis. We report a case of malignant chondroid
syringoma with lung metastasis in a 39-year-old female patient and response to
chemotherapy. We also reviewed the literatures of malignant chondroid syringoma.
