Abstract
서론
소세포암(small cell carcinoma)은 anaplastic carcinom, APUDoma, Oat cell carcinoma 등
으로 불리우며, 폐와 기관지에서 주로 발생하나 후두, 흉선, 식도, 위, 췌장, 자궁 경부, 유방
및 전립선 등에서도 발생한다. 소세포암은 흉부 단순 및 전산화 단층 촬영, 객담 세포 검사,
기관지경 검사상 병변이 폐로 침범하지 않은 상태에서 위에서 일차적으로 발생하여 조직학
적 생검상 소세포암으로 증명된 경우를 말한다. 소세포암은 주로 폐에서 발생되며, 폐 이외
기관에서 4% 정도 발생하는데 위에서 발생하는 경우는 극히 드물다.
저자들은 위저부에 병발한 원발성 소세포암 1예를 경험하고 광범위 위절제술 및 보조 항
암 요법으로 치료하였기에 폐외소세포암에 관한 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Small cell carcinoma is derived from APUDcells of any parts of the body. Usually the
cases are discovered in the lungs and have poor prognosis. Small cell carcinoma has
been increasingly reported in various organ outside the lungs, such as the larynx,
thymus, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, uterine cervix, and prostate.
Primary small cell carcinoma of the stomach is extremly rare. The histology of the
tumor was similar to that of ordinary small cell carcinoma of the lung, and the
secretory granules were identified by electron microscopy. We report a patient with
gastric pure small cell carcinoma who treated by a radical total gastrectomy and
chemotherapy.
