Abstract
32세 남자의 직장에서 발생한 저등급 MALT(mucosa associated lymphoid tissue) 림프종
1예를 보고한다. 대장의 원발성 림프종은 대장의 악성 종양중 1% 미만을 차지하는 드문 질
환으로, 최근에는 이 중 상당 부분이, 다른 림프종과는 상이한 병리학적 소견을 갖는
MALT 유례의 림프종인 것으로 밝혀졌다.
본 증례에서는 대장바륨조영술상 직장에 점막 결절과 얕은 궤양의 소견이 있었고, 복부
CT에서 직장벽의 비후가 있었으며, 광범위한 림프절의 종대나 간비종대의 소견은 없어 염
증성 장 질환과 감별이 어려웠다.

We report a case with low-grade MALT lymphoma of the rectum in a 32-year-old
man.
Primary lymphoma of the colon is rare and comprises less than 1% of large bowel
malignancies. Recently, large part of colonic lymphoma have been shown to be MALT
lymphoma, which is a distinct type of B-cel lymphoma.
The radiologic findings of this case are mucosal nodularity with shallow ulcers in the
rectum, as seen on barium enema, and rectal wall thickening, as seen on CT. There
was no evidence of intra-abdominal lymphadenopathy nor hepatosplenomegaly. Such
radiologic findings are rather similar to the findings in cases of inflammatory bowel
disease, rending the differential diagnosis difficult.
