Abstract
서론
전신 질환의 병력이 없고, 위수술의 과거력이 없는 건강했던 사람에서 위 마비
(gastroparesis)가 발생하였을 때 특발성 위 마비(idiopathic gastroparesis)라 부른다. 이러한
특발성 위 마비 중에서 인플루엔자와 유사한 질환 혹은 바이러스 위장염 후에 갑자기 위 마
비가 발생하는 경우, 바이러스가 원인으로 작용했을 것으로 추정하며, 특발성 위 마비의 아
군(subgroup)으로 바이러스성 위 마비로 분류하기도 한다. 바이러스성 위 마비는 매우 드문
것으로 알려져 있으며, 국내에는 아직 보고가 없다. 이에 저자 등은, 바이러스 감염으로 추
정되는 급성 상기도염 후에 오심, 구토 및 체중 감소가 발생하여 상부 위장관 내시경 검사,
위배출 신티그라피(gastric emptying scintigraphy) 및 antropyloroduodenal manometry 검사
를 통해 위 마비로 진단된 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Viral gastroparesis is a rare disease which is regarded as a subgroup of idiopathic
gastroparesis. It is abruptly developed after viral infection. It tends to affect young
persons who are healthy. It is commonly associated with autonomic neuropathy, and its
prognosis is excellent. Recently we experienced a 42-year-old woman with gastroparesis
occurred after a viral infection. Gastric emptying was severely delayed on gastric
emptying scintigraphy. Antropyloroduodenal manometry showed severe hypomotility on
antrum. The patient was slightly improved after being treated with prokinetics.
