Abstract
The purpose of this study was to research and analysis of the various injury and disease of physical therapy patients. The objects of this study were 1331 patients being treated at the Chun Nam University Hospital, from January 1, 1990 to December 31, 1992.
The results are as follows:
1. There are 823(61.8%) males and 508(38.2%) females among 1331 patients.
2. The most common age group for treated on the physical therapy was 50 to 59 years old.
3. The largest group of disease or injury appeared hemiplegia with 29.8%, fracture with 11.0% and pain with 9.3%.
4. Practice department according to disease or injuring was orthopedic surgery with 21.7%, neurosurgery with 21.0% and neurology with 14.7%.
5. At physical therapy patients, 81.5% patients are in patients and others are out patients.
