Abstract

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common entrapment mononeuropathy and ofren requires therapies cinservatively or surgically, for the diagnosis of CTS, recommendarions of the electrodiagnostic studies have been made and found to be highly sensitive and specific. there si no universally agreed upon method of grading the severity of CTS. we describe a grading scheme for the severity of CTS by electrophysiologic criteria that may be useful when reporting a consultation.
