Abstract
송과모세포종(Fineoblastoma)은 두개내 종양의 0.1%이하를 차지하는 신경외배엽성 기원의
미분화 악성종양이다. 임상적으로 이 종양은 20세 이 전에서 호발하고 급성장하며 뇌척수액
을 따라 초기에 전이되는 특징을 가지고 있다. 조직학적으로 송과모세포종은 수모세포종-망
막세포아종의 군속과 유사한 양상을 보여서 발생기원의 연관성을 강력히 시사하고 있어 학
문적 흥미를 더하고 있다. 송과체실질종양이 다양한 세포로의 분화를 보인다는 점은 잘 알
려져 있다 신경세포나 신경교세포로의 분화는 나이 많은 송과세포종 환자에서 대부분 관찰
되어지며 본 예에서와 같이 송과모세포종에서 신경세포로의 분화를 보이는 것은 드문 분화
양상으로 알려져 있다.
최근 저자들은 28세 남자에서 발생한 신경세포로의 분화를 보이는 송과모세포종 1예를 경
험하고 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

A case of pineoblastoma In a 28-year-old male is reported. A Computericed
tomography showed hydrocephalus and a mass in the pineal region. Histologically, the
tumor is Composed of regular, patternless aggregates of small round undifferentiated
cells, resembling medulloblastoma-retinoblastoma group. Immunohistochemical reactivity
of the neoplastic cells for neutron specific enolase and synaptophysin demonstrates
neuronal differentiation. The patient underwent partial resection of the mass followed by
radiotherapy. The patient had no cerebrospinal dissemination at 8 month follow-up. The
pineoblastoma is a highly malignant neoplasm, one of the Class of primitive
neuroectodermnal tumers. The tumor is a very rare pineal parenchymal neoplasms,
representing an incidence of less than 01% of intracranial tumors. This is the first case
of pineoblastoma reported in Korea. In this report, the divergent differentiation of the
tumor is discussed, along with review of literatures.
