Abstract


The main purposes of this study were to survey the present status and needs of data processing of curriculum in the kindergarten.
The subjects were 178 preschool¢¥s teachers and directors of kindergarten.
The instrument was questionnaire. The questionnaire was composed of 21 items.
The data were analyzed by frequency, and percentage.
The major results are summarized as follows:
1. Majority of the kindergarten showed a tendency not to develop curriculum actively.
2. Majority of the kindergarten to depend on curriculum guides proposed by the ministry of education for the curriculum planning regardless of the unique characteristics.
3. Most of the teachers and directors wanted a list of goals, materials activities, items for curriculum planning.
