Abstract
구강내에서 발생하는 악성 흑색종은 비교적 드문 종양으로 원인에 대해서는 정확히 알려
져 있지는 않으나 방사선치료 후에 발생된 양성 흑색증이 악성으로 전환된 보고가 있다.
본원에서 구강내 편평상피세포암으로 국소방사선치료 후 동일한 부위에 6년 후에 악성 흑
색종이 발생하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
Malignant melanoma of the oral cavity is rare, accounting for 1 to 8% of all
malignant melanomas. The overall prognosis remains poor despite the available
treatments such as radical surgery, adjuvant radiotherapy, chemotherapy and
immunotherapy due to failure in early detection and tendency in early metastasis. The
etiology of mucosal malignant melanoma remains unknown. However, there are few
cases of malignant melanoma of the oral cavity reported in the literature, which might
be related to preexisting melanosis and radiation treatment.
A case with malignant melanoma developed on the same site after 6 years following
irradiation for squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity is reported in this article.
